Installation
Download NearMirror for your operating system and follow the setup steps below.

macOS
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag NearMirror to your Applications folder
- Open NearMirror from Applications or Spotlight
“You can’t open the application because this application is not supported on this Mac” (Intel Mac)
NearMirror ships two separate macOS downloads (Apple Silicon vs Intel). Pick the build that matches your Mac. If you are on an Intel Mac, use Download for macOS (Intel). The Apple Silicon DMG will show this error on Intel hardware.
Windows
- Run the downloaded
.msiinstaller - Follow the on-screen prompts
- Launch NearMirror from the Start menu or desktop shortcut
note
Windows Defender SmartScreen may display a warning on first run. Click More info → Run anyway to proceed.
Linux
Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)
Open a terminal and run:
sudo dpkg -i NearMirror-linux-x64.deb
Then launch NearMirror from your application menu or by running nearmirror in the terminal.
